Here’s a breakdown of the installation steps in replacing your windshield with ADAS calibration.

preparation & Inspection
Inspect the windshield for damage, and check ADAS cameras and sensors are working properly before removal.

Removal of Old Windshield
Carefully detach ADAS components and remove the damaged windshield without harming the vehicle’s frame.

Clean and prime the frame to remove old adhesive, debris, and contaminants per manufacturer instructions to ensure proper adhesion.

Apply the adhesive uniformly to the vehicle's frame making sure it meets the specs. for ADAS-equipped windshields.

Thorough Inspection
Precisely align and secure the new windshield, ensuring proper ADAS bracket placement.

reinstall and calibrate ADAS
Reattach ADAS cameras and sensors and then calibrate the ADAS system using static in-shop equipment.

Installation can take 3 to 4 hours, depending on the complexity of the system and whether static or dynamic calibration is required. Dynamic calibration may add additional time if specific driving conditions are needed.
You can usually drive your vehicle 1-2 hours after getting a new windshield with ADAS calibration. It can depend on the adhesive's curing time and the completion of the calibration. Always follow the technician's specific instructions for safety.
Avoid washing your car for at least 24 hours after installation. Pure water or rain is fine, but it's important to avoid pressure and chemicals that could interfere with the glue during this time.
